Mackie

Mackie is a very handsome chocolate labrador/retriever mix possibly with some Chesapeake Bay retriever in there too! He is almost 1 year old and weighs about 40 lbs. but is a bit too thin now so we expect he will gain a bit of weight. He is very sweet, playful and dog friendly and was waiting for a long time in the shelter before we were finally able to rescue him and a local foster stepped up to care for him until he arrives in New England in mid-December. Mackie would do very well with an active family, couple or individual, ready to play and go on adventures with him and snuggle in on a cold night, ideally in a home with another dog to play with as well!
