Meet Mackenzie Elizabeth! This stunning petite lady is 7 years old and only 40 lbs. Kenzie came to us as an owner surrender as she was not comfortable with the new baby in the home, At the same time, we noticed she was very ill and our vet diagnosed her with Chronic Hepatitis (an infection of her liver). It was touch and go for a while and her future was not certain but with lots of medical support and care, Kenzie's liver values are currently stable! Due to her very unique case, our rescue will cover ALL of Mackenzie's medical care once she is adopted.

Now a little about Kenzie's personality - She LOVES her toys especially her footballs and retrieving them in the yard. She could stay out there all day and bask in the sun! Kenzie wants to be the only pet, although she is not dog aggressive. she does not want to share her toys or play and tends to ignore other dogs.

She is house trained and does not need to be crated but loves to have a little covered nook where she feels safe. One look in this little nuggets eyes and you cannot help but fall in love - she is awkward at times, so silly with her fears but she loves people and has such a fan base that have followed her journey and are rooting for her!
