Mack

7/1/26: Unfortunately, Mack has been returned again after almost a year. He is a great dog and they loved him, but could not keep him anymore. He is so smart and loves all people! He loves to be with his people and enjoys walks and playing! Mack would make a great hiking partner and would love to go on adventures with you! Sadly, Mack is terrified of fireworks and the previous owner stated that he figured out how to escape their 5 foot fence because of them. Otherwise, he did great with the fenced backyard! <br/><br/>Mack was brought in as a stray and never claimed. He is super sweet and loves everybody! Mack is smart and already knows sit! He is learning more every day! He loves attention and is very loyal and loving! Mack seems to do well with other dogs, but we would recommend a meet-and-greet to ensure a good match before going home! He is super playful and enjoys fetch! <br/>We believe Mack is a German Shepherd mix, and is a young dog at around 1 year old! Mack is also potty trained!<br/><br/>Mack was adopted 9/24/24 and returned to us 11/26/24. He is not happy being back, but we will love on him to help him cheer up! Mack was returned for separation anxiety. Despite this, the person who had him said he did wonderful with her young kids and other dog! <br/><br/>Every dog adopted from Green Hills Animal Shelter is fixed, wormed, has age-appropriate vaccinations, and is tested for heartworm (if old enough). Dogs from GHAS will also come with a starter bag of Hills Science Diet dog/puppy food to get you started!
