Meet Macie, our brindle beauty!<br/><br/>Hi everyone its time to update my dating profile! <br/><br/>Im Macie, an 8-year-old mature lady hoping to find my special person to spend forever with. I dont ask for much just someone who will love me, take care of me, and understand my little quirks. I came to STAF from a rural county shelter. <br/><br/>Full disclosure: I can be a bit anxious when meeting new people or facing new situations. Children tend to make me uneasy. But once I settle into a routine, I absolutely shine! Im loyal to a fault once I know Im safe and loved. <br/><br/>Walks are my favorite pastime trails, neighborhoods, you name it! I also adore curling up in your lap for pets and cuddles afterward. I do well passing other dogs on walks and even enjoy small playgroups at daycare (the smaller dogs and calmer crowd are my style).<br/><br/>Im also brave, but I'll admit thunderstorms make me a little nervous. You will be asked to return for at least one follow-up visit, then take the dog home for a trial period before officially adopting. <br/> You must be 21 years or older to adopt from STAF..<br/> Due in part to increasing coyote activity/incidents in the area and the difficulty of predicting how a dog will respond to invisible fence training, we can not adopt to homes with invisible fences.<br/> We do request vet and personal references.<br/> We can facilitate adoptions within a 30-mile radius of our Cincinnati-based shelter.
