Maci is still looking for a home.<br/>She is such a good dog. She is so easy. No training needed. Want a perfect dog that is hilarious??? She is your girl. <br/><br/> She is 8 years old. She is the cutest Sharpei Pit mix. She is 60lbs and very chunky. Maci has loose skin rolls, soft fur, tiny ears, and a fat snout! She is very unique and adorable! She snorts and grunts a lot! Snores when she sleeps. She needs a home that will help her gain a healthy lifestyle and not gain more weight. <br/> She likes toys, playing, and going for walks. She is hilarious. She mostly likes to lounge around, but she is always up for a short adventure and a short play burst. She will rough house if you provoke her. She is not scared of fireworks and tries to protect you from the weedeater. She loves to patrol the yard and sit on duty for hours if you let her. She loves her collar and harness and gets very excited to put them on. When I take her collar off, she wants me to put it back on her! <br/> She is fully house trained and can be left alone unsupervised in home. She is also crate trained and obeys any kind of baby gate. She is good on the leash and loves riding in the car. She loves to be loved on! <br/> I really can't brag enough about what a wonderful house guest she is. I think I'd forget that she was here if she didn't make her funny little noises lol. <br/> Maci does have skin allergies and must be kept on meds. On daily meds, she looks great! I've been looking at other options as well, but the meds work so well that I haven't tried anything else yet. <br/> She does love kids and other dogs. She lives flawlessly with my 3 large dogs that are very chill and has done great with visiting puppies and at events meeting all new dogs. She really takes to the puppies. BUT if another dogs comes off agressive, she is ready to take them on. I do feed them all separately because she likes to eat in peace at her food bowl. She does not have any issues taking treats with the other dogs. Kids in home would need to understand boundaries. She sits and waits and takes treats gently from your hand. <br/> Maci is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vet care. Maci lost her home of the last 5 years due to a death in the home and too many other changing dynamics, causing it to not be the right fit for her any more. <br/><br/>*Maci had a vet appointment on June 2nd. She was pretty dramatic so we decided to muzzle her just during the shots and exam. She is now up to date on everything and is heartworm negative! She was happy to see all the humans at the vet when they weren't trying to poke her with a needle ?. She is really such a good dog.
