Mac Beagle & Basset Hound Mix Mokena, IL

Meet Mac! Mac is a 4 month old Beagle/Basset mix. Him and his 5 siblings were recently rescued from a high kill shelter. They are all in loving foster homes, and they are now ready for their forever homes! Below are some words from his amazing foster home!

"Hi future family! My name is Mac. I'm a 10 week old beagle mix puppy. Yep, you heard that right, I'm a puppy. That means I get the zoomies then sleep for 3 hours. It also means I sometimes forget to tell my foster humans when I have to go potty outside. My foster mom says I'm doing pretty great at "going potty outside". I LOVE my humans! Heck I love them all! I haven't met too many tiny humans yet but I did like the few I met. I really love that my temporary dad works from home! I love to nap next to him while he works. I'm working on trying to like my crate. I kept telling the mom that I don't like it and I don't want to be in it but I don't think she understands me. I also don't think she appreciates when I sing the song of my people. I'm super happy they let me sleep on the couch with either the mom or the teenager. I'm a super good boy and stay on the couch the whole night and don't have accidents. I would be happiest with a family that has someone who is home with me or could take me to work with them since I really love my people. They would also need to be patient with me since I'm still learning how to be the best boy."

To achieve this, we believe in spending the appropriate amount of time with each family to allow for enough interaction time with potential adopters.
