Mac's Story

Meet Mac

Mac is a spunky little 6-year-old Brussels Griffon/Shih tzu mix who weighs approximately 13 pounds. He was surrendered to rescue by his owner who could no longer care for him. He has a soft grey non shedding coat. Mac received a full health check up and was subsequently neutered and had a dental cleaning. He is vaccinated and microchipped. He has been a very loved pet in his life and has a great personality.

He knows basic commands and is not destructive. Mac is working on housetraining and does some occasional marking which we are working on. He is eating a mixture of both soft food and kibble and enjoys treats occasionally. Mac sleeps on dog beds or people beds, where he sleeps peacefully through the night. He can jump onto furniture and uses stairs. Mac was previously an only dog, but he’s currently in foster with other dogs of similar size and gets along well with them.

His preferred home would be with someone who is home at least part of the day to help with his housetraining. Mac is adorable and full of fun! He is looking forward to finding his new forever home.
