Mable's Story
Meet Mable!

Female Terrier/Chihuahua Mix Recently Spayed

Meet Mable, Walter's older sister. Like her little brother, Mable's world changed when her owner passed away, and she suddenly found herself in a completely unfamiliar environment with people she doesn't yet know or trust.

Mable was recently spayed and is ready for the next chapter of her life, but she is going to need a very special kind of home-one filled with patience, understanding, and plenty of time to decompress.

Right now, Mable is fearful of people. She needs someone who understands that you can't rush a scared dog into trusting you. Give her space, let her come to you, and allow her to learn at her own pace that hands can be gentle and people can be safe.

Because of her fearfulness, we recommend no small children. Little ones naturally move quickly and unpredictably, and that can be overwhelming for a dog who is already frightened.

Mable doesn't need someone expecting an instant lap dog. She needs someone willing to say, "It's okay. Take all the time you need."

And one day, when this scared little girl finally chooses to come sit beside you on her own, you'll know just how much that trust means.

SPAYED & LOOKING FOR A PATIENT FOREVER HOME
