PLEASE FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION AT ANAPETRESCUE.COM*** Meet the marvelous miss Mable! Mable is a beautiful, sweet, high-energy suspected lab mix of about 1 year old and 55 lbs. She is spayed and up-to-date on her vaccines! Mable loves adventures. She enjoys swimming, hiking, and any activity where she can burn off some of her energy! She has excelled in her foster home and is hoping to find the perfect forever family soon. Mable loves toys but will absolutely demolish the soft fabric kind! She is a super chewer! She enjoys carrying her toys around the house and seemingly always has one in her mouth to show off! This sweet girl LOVES her cuddle times and enjoys being the center of attention when you give them to her! She gets a little jealous when left out and will try to push her way back into your main focus. She does bark a bit but will stop with some distractions. Mable is also an early riser! She likes to go potty at dawn and have a quick breakfast before going right back to sleep for a bit. She does need adequate time to potty however because sometimes she gets so excited to play that she forgets to go to the bathroom while outside and may have an accident in the house. When given enough time to potty outdoors, she does great! She does fantastic in the car but is an escape artist if you leave the window down too low. Mable also walks great on a leash for the most part but does pull a bit when not wearing a training collar! She can also escape from a normal flat collar if not careful. However, her off-leash recall is great! She does extraordinarily well on off-leash hikes in the bush or open areas. She was surrendered from a home with children so we imagine she would be fine with older kids who have experience with rescues as Mable does get scared of loud noises or yelling and will pee from fear in those situations. She is getting better in foster care as she is starting to realize that she is safe but she will need patience during her adjustment period at her forever home. Mable is very high-energy and will require a lot of activity and exercise. She would thrive in an active household that doesn't mind lots of daily activity as she is prone to becoming bored. Mable would do best in a home with another dog as she is very social and enjoys having a playmate to keep her company and keep boredom at bay! She does great with cats and does not really acknowledge that they exist! Do you have a Mable-sized hole in your heart? Adopt this sweet girl and have a best friend for years to come!
