Mabel

Mabel was found as a stray with her puppies in a rural town we help. A kind person saw them and picked them up. We were able to bring them all into our program, and Mabel raised her puppies in a safe place. The puppies have been adopted, and we hope there is someone out there for Mabel too. She has completed her veterinary care, so she is ready to find someone to love her forever.<br/><br/>Mabel is a great leash walker and she likes to go for strolls. She is house trained and will learn new things for treat rewards. She was fostered with a cat for a month and she was fine with him. She will stay close to her person and is very laid back. She loves a big round bed and taking naps. If you’re looking for a couch potato type of dog, then Mabel is your girl.<br/><br/>Mabel is 3 years old and weighs 88 pounds. We think she’s a Lab mix. She is spayed, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. She is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.<br/><br/>Mabel can arrive in Dewitt, New York on 3/28.
