Mabel's Story

Meet Mabel! This spirited girl came to us from an overcrowded shelter, where her past life was sadly spent being used for breeding. But those days are long behind her, and she’s come such a long way since first arriving with us!

Mabel is now embracing the good life — one filled with love, fun, and new adventures. She absolutely loves going to the park for walks and struts beautifully on a leash. She’s always thrilled to hop in the car for a ride, and her tail never stops wagging when treats are involved.

Energetic, outgoing, and full of personality, Mabel is looking for a home — ideally with someone familiar with Rottweilers or working breeds — where she can be the loyal and loving companion she was always meant to be.

She has done well around dogs when properly introduced.

If you are interested in meeting Mabel, please visit our website to submit an adoption application today!

(copy and paste the link below in your browser)
https://www.seniordogsanctuary.com/adoption-application.html

Senior Dog Sanctuary of Maryland's Adoption Policy
Why adopt a Senior Dog? Experienced, housebroken, settled down, loving and lovable, good with children, excellent company, non-judgemental - we could go on but you get the picture. Exceptions to everything listed? Sure, but all in all an experience you will never regret. First, come visit the dogs that interest you; we are open, by appointment, every day of the week from 10-3. Then complete our Adoption Application, which asks for personal references, your animals' Vet, information about your home environment and your agreement to allow us to do a home visit. Once approved, we will do a meet and greet with your family - including your four-legged family members. If all goes well, you welcome your pup into your home and your heart and you all become members of our extended Senior Dog Sanctuary family!
