Lydia's Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.ADOPTION PENDINGLydia is delicate lady beagle, gentle and really beautiful. Her personality is very easy-going and she’s quiet, yet she does have some spunk -- especially in the cooler weather! There are other dogs and a cat in her foster home, and Lydia is friendly and submissive with them all. Her life hasn’t been easy prior to coming to our rescue, she had a urinary tract infection and an ear infection that had been untreated for quite some time. She’s a little bit hard of hearing, possibly from the ear infection, but her foster mom says if you speak up, she hears just fine. Lydia is doing well with being crated and with house training. She loves her people and enjoys a belly rub and a head scratch, but is also independent and relaxed. Lydia will fit perfectly with a family who wants a calm and peaceful dog as a companion. She is heartworm negative and will be ready for a sleepover about the end of March.
