Lycoda's Story

MEET Lycoda! She is an around six year old pit mix and has been with the same family since she was around 6 months, but has found herself unhappy with the family’s toddler. Lycoda is an introverted gal and doesn’t do well in an environment with overstimulation. She does fine with older children that are respectful of her space. She does well with most other dogs and may do best transitioning to another home with another stable companion. Cats are unknown. She is house and crate trained, although she doesn’t have a history of being destructive when left out. She knows basic training and is food motivated, which would make it easy to continue adding new tricks or commands. She loves to chill and snuggle with her blanket, although zoomies, spinning around and playing tug-o-war are also some of her favorite activities. She also loves to walk but still needs to work on her leash manners, she just gets so excited! <br/>Lycoda is a sweetheart and her whole life is about to change. She will need a family that will be patient with her, as this could mean an increase in anxiousness/shyness until she learns about her new world.
