Lyanna's Story
Lyanna (approximately 64 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. This girl is so sweet, you'd think all the sugar in the world had been poured into her! Lyanna has a gorgeous smile which is the first thing you notice about her. It's pretty impressive that her smile is so outstanding when you realize that she has a massive scar running down her back. Her scar is a testament to what was likely a very difficult life prior to her rescue, and her spirit is a testament to the resilience of living things. Lyanna lives her life as though each moment is her best moment - she is enthusiastic about pretty much everything, especially if people are involved. This lover girl is an expert snuggler, and she thrives on human contact. She is also a bit of a bowling ball on leash - very strong and determined to head in what she deems the correct direction. Since receiving human approval is everything to Lyanna, we think that with some positive reinforcement training she will improve her leash skills. She is a gem of a dog who so deserves the happiest of happily-ever-afters...if you can make our dreams for Lyanna come true, come down & meet her today!

If you'd like to meet Lyanna and all her friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed).
