Lunchbox's Story

Lunchbox is a sweet, loving, and playful boy with a big smile and a big heart, and he's in search of a best buddy to take him home! As a young adult dog, Lunchbox has the best qualities of a puppy mixed with the training and self-control of a grown dog who has learned his manners.

When you meet Lunchbox, he will give you a big smile and wag, and then nuzzle and lean against you to show his affection. Once he's had his fill of snuggles, he'll grab a tennis ball and it's playtime! This boy absolutely loves to play ball, chasing after a thrown ball to catch it in midair before returning it to you dutifully for the next round. He's also an expert at catching thrown treats, though he takes them gently from your hand as well! Squeaky toys are his second favorite, especially any that make an especially goofy noise (he has a rubber chicken in his kennel at the moment that he's having a great time with).

A versatile pup, Lunchbox would do well in a variety of settings and types of home. He enjoys playing in the yard, but equally enjoys a leash walk and has exceptional leash manners. Likewise, he enjoys the company of some other dogs, but would be happy to be the only dog in the house, as well. His only requirement is that he gets lots of love and gets to show off the very good boy that he is!
