Luna III's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Luna's super pleasant nature always inspires a smile. She loves attention and would enjoy an 8 hour belly rub if she could get it. Her foster family always looks forward to returning home to her and she loves each of them equally, taking turns snuggling with them at night. Luna is low to moderate energy but she came to us very overweight, currently she has lost 14 lb. With patience, her foster has helped her to become better on leash and she takes 3 short walks a day for exercise. This routine has also worked fabulously for her house training. She is on Natural Balance Fat Dogs Chicken and Salmon, and is eating at 500 kCal per day, spread in 2 meals. Her calm nature makes her easy at home as she is content to sit beside you or nap in a nearby dog bed. There are no other dogs in Luna's Foster home, but we know she has been with other dogs and is very friendly when she meets them on her walks. If other dogs bark at her Luna is quiet. She loves meeting new people and greets them with wagging tail. Currently, she has not been crated, although she sometimes sleeps at night in the crate with the door is open. We'd like to see Luna in a home where there is a calm environment and she gets plenty of affection and she'd be fine with slightly older kids. We have Luna scheduled for a dental on November 24th and we'll get to recheck her weight. Then she will be ready for a sleepover!
