Luna's Story

Little lady Luna

This girl can take the blues away. Wow! What a sweetheart. I haven't stopped smiling since I picked her up. She is a 4 month old lab mix and a very petite princess. She currently weighs 11 pounds. The shortest little legs- but she kept up on a walk with my 50 pound doodle today. She is potty trained and loves going out in the yard.

She sits for a treat. Slept all night in my bed. Sits nicely in the car. Doesn't chew- but was a clothes thief this morning! She will also steal your heart. Really wants to play with the cat- but she is 18 and not interested. A calm and gentle little girl.

If you are interested in adopting, please visit our website and complete an adoption application at www.elpasocountycanine.org/adopt

El Paso County Canine Rescue's Adoption Policy
Please bear with us as we process applications! We are working on changing our processes to function during the COVID-19 outbreak. We have had a big increase in people wanting to adopt (yay!) so it's taking us a bit of time to get through the applications. We work on a first-come, first-serve basis. You must apply for adoption before you will be able to meet with a pup. If you meet with a dog and decide to adopt, we can process your adoption right then and you can go home with your new family member! Thank you for adopting from us and saving our sweet dogs!
