Luna & Cookie, please read entire bio's Story
Sweet, precious Luna is just that! Precious! Luna will be a bonded pair with Cookie. Please see Cookie's bio next to Luna.
SWEET Luna, was sadly dumped by her "family" with her brother because they were moving. She did not have a good family and is so happy that she is receiving love, giving love, getting proper nutrition, health care and safety.
She is 7 lbs. now, but he will be putting on another 3-5 lbs to get to a healthy weight. Her approximate age is 1-2, a terrier mix, fully vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. Her coat is very easy to maintain with regular brushings, along with nail trims and baths about every 8 weeks. Her last picture of her on the greass, is her shelter photo where you can see her coat fully grown out.

She is learning how to walk well on a leash and learning to go potty outside. With potty training, each home can be different, so we encourage all of our adopters to continue her potty training with small treats and verbal praise.
Luna is learning to trust that she will never be hurt again. She is coming out of her shell, as she was so terrified when she came out of the shelter. She is just a little quiet angel, prim and proper. We can't wait to see the spark come into her eyes with all the love she will get. Right now, she is afraid of men, but we have seen over and over again, that with love and trust, she will overcome that. Often, with dogs like her, they will love the one they fear the most!
Luna would do best in a quiet, calm home with a mostly stay at home family, no young kids, no cats. ( She gets along with cats, but her brother doesn't) A semi active family to take her on daily walks, as she is so young, she needs that daily exercise and fun! She will need a fully fenced yard, with a minimum 5 feet. She would love another small, gentle dog to play with!
For an application for Luna and Cookie, please email familytailsdogrescue@gmail.com or call, ( not before 9:00 am or after 9:00 pm) Kim at 360-969-2014
