Luna Beth's Story
Luna Beth was a recent owner surrender due to allergies. She was deeply loved and had a bit of a tough time with the transition. She is now settled and we are seeing her personality shine through.

At around a year old, Luna Beth is believed to be a retriever mix, with adorable mismatched ears (one up, one down, both with their own unique shape). We’re convinced she was born this way, and we wouldn’t change a thing. She is truly a stunning dog!

Luna Beth is a total darling with a playful, outdoorsy spirit. She loves her yard time and will politely ask to go out several times a day. Once outside, she zooms and runs to her heart’s content, usually for about 15–30 minutes before she’s ready to come back in and relax. She enjoys toys, will happily chase a ball, and is still deciding if bringing it back is really part of the deal.

In the home, Luna Beth is crate trained and has been doing great with house manners. She has not had any potty accidents since coming into rescue! She’s also not much of a barker.

She’s got a sweet, affectionate side too. While she hasn’t fully committed to her dream of becoming a full time Velcro dog just yet, she’s been known to climb into a lap for a cozy nap and absolutely melts for belly rubs. Get ready for the cutest little head tilt when she hears something she is trying to figure it out.

Luna Beth is currently living with other dogs but has shown that she prefers to be the boss and can start scuffles, so she’s looking for a home where she can be the only pet and truly shine.

If you’re looking for a fun, active, slightly quirky companion with a heart of gold (and the best ears around), Luna Beth might just be your perfect match.

Luna Beth is spayed, current on vaccines and prevention, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $300. To meet her, please submit an application at www.k9kindnessrescue.org/adopt. As a reminder, we are not a shelter location and require a scheduled meet and greet.

Adopters must live within 175 miles of the Quad Cities. All pets currently in the home must be routinely kept up to date on shots, prevention and fixed to be approved for adoption.
