She is well worth a road trip, and we encourage you to come and meet her before you decide she should join your family! <br/><br/>SOCIALIZATION, TEMPERAMENT AND TRAINING<br/>Luna currently shares her home with small and large dogs and gets along beautifully with everyone. She loves to play, zoom around, and explore, but she also enjoys snuggling and quietly observing her humans when the action slows down. She is crate comfortable and is learning potty training, making great progress with structure and consistency.<br/><br/>Luna is just a baby, she is young and eager to learn how to be a good family dog. She'd love you to take her to school so he can learn ALL the skills she needs to be her best self. This would be beneficial for you as her pet parent(s) as well so that you can learn to communicate effectively with her and teach her to be confident. <br/><br/>It's important to remember: Luna is a puppy, and PUPPIES ARE HARD WORK! This little girl is just getting started - she has sharp nails and needle teeth and loves to pounce on shoes and grab hold and tug on anything that moves! As far as she's concerned, anything and everything is for play. She still has everything to learn about being a civilized member of a mainly human family. She will trip you up, piddle on your rug, and chew your stuff. Please don't apply to adopt Luna unless you're sure you have the time, energy and desire to raise her right!<br/><br/>HEALTH STATUS<br/><br/>General info<br/>Luna is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and dewormed. She appears to be in good health. At full grown, she will likely weigh around 15-20 lbs.<br/><br/>HART does not support pediatric spay/neuter, so Luna has not yet been sterilized. As part of the adoption contract, you will be required to have her spayed by 6 months of age. HART will refund $100 upon receiving proof of sterilization if requested.<br/><br/>ADOPTION<br/>The adoption fee for Luna is $425. Our process starts with an online application and may take a few days to a week to complete.
