Luna's Story

**WE ARE ALWAYS IN NEED OF FOSTER HOMES** Homeward Bound Dog Rescue is an all volunteer rescue organization and all our dogs and puppies are in foster homes - we are not a shelter and do NOT have a facility where we house our dogs. For adoption information go to: www.homewardbounddogrescue.com. You must fill out an application online as we do NOT accept applications at our clinics.

Introducing Luna, an approximately 2-year old, 20-lb spaniel mix (with maybe a splash of herding dog). Luna is a new arrival from Puerto Rico, and is being fostered by Homeward Bound Dog Rescue. This sweet girl is a quick learner, and will settle in nicely with her new family. She’s doing well in her foster, but not sure if she’d like to play with the resident dog. She may not be your dog’s friend, but she will be yours!

I think she would be happiest in a lower chaos household with an active family. A family with older children would be a good fit too - more people to love!

Our adoption clinics are held one Saturday a month at our facility in Schenectady on John Street, located directly behind Boulevard Bowl (Erie Boulevard) from 10 am to 12 pm (directions are on our website). We require an approved application before we consider anyone for an adoption - so filling out the application is your first step. Once your application has been reviewed, you will receive an email invitation to attend an adoption event. Different dogs and puppies go up for adoption EVERY WEEK so please feel free to visit the site and click on the Petfinder link for updates as we are adopting dogs out in between adoption events. Puppies and dogs up to 2 years old are $395. Dogs over 2 years old are $295. 100% of the adoption fees go to help us save more dogs.
