Meet Luna ?She is not at shelter, but rather in Foster Care.<br/>This beautiful, sweet girl was surrendered just last week to the Bedford County Animal Shelter — a place that is currently bursting at the seams with dogs in need.<br/>Luna is a 3-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix with the softest eyes, the happiest grin, and the sweetest heart. Despite the confusion and sadness of losing her home, Luna has been so smiley, greeting everyone with a wagging tail and her signature Husky chatter. She had a lot to say to volunteers this weekend — her way of telling us she still believes someone out there is coming for her. In between her conversations, she rolled right over and asked for a belly rub. ?<br/>She’s said to be great with kids, cats, and other dogs — a gentle, loving soul who deserves to be part of a family again.<br/>But the truth is, the shelter is so full right now that every single kennel is a race against time.
