Luna

Hi I am Luna, I am a 10 month old female Shepard mix. <br/>I was adopted in Washington DC at an adoption event in June 2025. I am spayed and up to date on my vaccines, and I weigh in at 38 pounds. I shouldn't weigh to much more than 45 pounds when full grown. <br/> I was originally listed as an only dog in the home at the other shelter, but I did well at a meet and greet and came home with a new fur partner. However once home here on the Shore me and the original dog in the home stopped getting along. So I am fishing for a home, once again.<br/><br/>The adoptee did say Luna did very well with her chickens. <br/>Luna is loving and gentle with all humans and has a very laid back temperament and loves affection. She could do well in a home with children, but will most likely need to be the only dog in the home due to her previous history.<br/>She is "laid back" and has a very sweet disposition. <br/><br/><br/>If you think you may be interested in adopting Luna you can stop by the shelter any Tuesday-Saturday from 10a.m.-2:30p.m. for a kennel walk through. (We have no same day adoptions and an approved adoption application is required to be scheduled for a meet and greet.)
