LUNA's Story

???? Meet Luna — A Sweet Girl Ready for Her Fresh Start ???? Say hello to Luna, our current long-timer! This beautiful 1-year-8-month-old lab mix has been with us for 73 days and is so deserving of a home that understands her, supports her, and loves her for who she is. ?? Luna came to us after an incident with a small child in her previous home that resulted in a minor bite. No one witnessed what happened, and the circumstances are unknown. Her owner made the difficult decision to surrender her for the safety of both their child and Luna. Since then, Luna has been showing us who she truly is — and she impresses us more every day. ? ? What We’ve Learned About Luna • Friendly & social — loves people and enjoys affection ?? • Well-mannered — appears housebroken and walks beautifully on leash ??????? • Dog-friendly — lived with another dog and passed her dog test here ?? • Young & fun — a great mix of playful energy and young-adult manners ?? Her previous owner shared she could be dog-selective outside the home, so a meet-and-greet with resident dogs is required. ?? What Luna Needs We’re looking for an adult-only home where Luna can feel safe, understood, and relaxed. She’ll thrive with: ? A child-free environment ? Owners who respect her boundaries ? An active lifestyle (this girl has energy!) ? Patience as she settles in ? Possibly a dog companion, pending a meet-and-greet Luna isn’t the right fit for homes with young children — and that’s okay! Dogs have preferences too. What matters is finding the right match. Luna is friendly, well-mannered, and more than ready to bond deeply with the family who sees her for the wonderful dog she is. ?? ?? Come Meet Luna ?? 430 Bristol Dr., Statesville, NC ?? Mon–Fri: 12–5 PM ?? Sat: 11 AM–2 PM Spend time with her, take her for a walk, and see her personality shine. We think she’ll impress you too. ? ?? Luna / A312945 1 year 8 months • Spayed Female • 51.40 lbs Microchipped & UTD on vaccines/preventatives ?? Her adoption fee is WAIVED! PLUS she comes with 2 FREE in-person training sessions with Highland Canine Training, LLC to help her settle comfortably into her new home. ?? The 3-3-3 Rule: What to Expect After Adoption 3 Days: Decompress 3 Weeks: Learn routines 3 Months: Feel truly at home Give her patience, love, and structure... and watch her bloom. ?? #adoptfromicas #myicasrescue
