Luna's Story

Luna is just about perfect! She came to us because she was a neglected stray, turned away by the local pound. Her finder was in danger of losing her housing if she kept Luna, so one of our adopters took Luna in, and so did we! When she came to us, she was in heat, heartworm positive, full of worms, and had staples embedded in her cropped ears--she needed a lot of veterinary care. But despite her past, Luna doesn't hold a grudge. She loves everyone, human and animal, as far as we can tell. She doesn't even mind baths!

Luna especially loves men, and her fosters think she would make a great companion for someone struggling with PTSD, though she is just a good friend to everyone.

Apply to foster or adopt:

http://Tinyurl.com/FFRPshortApp

Final Frontier Rescue Project's Adoption Policy
Our goal is to make good matches of dogs, people, and home environments. Our application and screening process may feel onerous, but we want lifetime matches, and if it does not work out, we take our dogs back, so we do our best to prevent that! We are all volunteers and we will respond to your inquiry or application as soon as we can, usually within 1-2 days. If none of our dogs is a good fit, we encourage responsible adopters to visit their local shelter to foster or adopt.
