Luna's Story

Meet Luna
The girl with the biggest personality and the biggest heart.

At almost 5 years old, Luna has already lived a lifetime of experiences. She came to us in February 2025, and it quickly became clear that Luna is very much a people dog, not a dog’s dog. She thrives on human connection and shows the most gentle, soulful affection to those she loves. One of her favorite things? Proudly carrying her stuffies around and doing just about anything for her beloved toys.

Luna has completed a board-and-train program and has her training down to a T. She is fully house-trained and crate-trained, and she truly enjoys structure and routine. Luna also loves car rides, especially sticking her snoot out the window to soak in all the smells as the world goes by.

Luna would flourish in a calm, consistent home where she can be the only pet and the true center of someone’s world. Because she bonds deeply and prefers a quieter environment, she would do best with a single woman or a loving lesbian couple who appreciates the beauty of a strong, one-on-one connection. No kids, cats, or other dogs, this queen prefers her universe small, safe, and built on trust.

She can be selective with new people and confident in her personality, but once you’re in her circle, Luna loves with her whole heart. She just needs someone willing to meet her, take the time to build a relationship at her pace, and allow her to show who she truly is.

If you’re looking for a devoted companion with a big personality, a gentle soul, and endless love to give, Luna may be the one you’ve been waiting for.

to be considered must apply at:
buddyandfriendsma.org/adopt
