Hi there, I'm Luna! 🌙<br/><br/>I thought I had found my forever when I was adopted from the shelter as a younger gal, but sometimes life throws surprises. My family had a baby, and all the new noises, cries, and chaos were overwhelming for me. Since I'd never lived with little ones before, it was a lot to handle, and I came back to the shelter. Now, I'm hoping for a second chance at forever with someone who understands me.<br/><br/>I'm a mix of silly and snuggly--I love running around, digging to my heart's content, and curling up under the covers when it's time to relax. I'm also housebroken and know how to sit and shake paw like a pro! My kennel is my little safe space, and it helps me feel secure when I need a breather.<br/><br/>I do have some dislikes: loud noises, raised voices, thunderstorms, and baths (I'll tolerate them, but trust me, I'll give you my best "Are you kidding me?" face the whole time). I've also shown that I can be protective of my people--once, I even nipped when I felt I needed to defend my owner. Because of that, I'm looking for a home without small children, where my humans will respect my boundaries and help me feel safe.<br/><br/>Don't worry though--I'm a total lovebug once I trust you. I'll shower you with affection, snuggle close, and sometimes even give you playful little "love nibbles" when I get excited.
