Do you remember Luna? She's still here with us at HCCC, waiting for that special someone to call her own. If you haven't heard her story, it's a tough one. Luna's family had to make the heartbreaking decision to let her go when they were stationed abroad. Can you imagine the confusion she must have felt, still holding onto the hope that they'd come back for her? But they never did.

• Thrives with older children or a single person experienced with chows
• Crate trained, learning leash manners
• Initially reserved but becomes more sociable with time and exposure
• Prefers to be only dog
