Luna's Story

Introducing Luna!
Luna with the incredible soul-searching eyes is a sweet and smart 7-month-old Border Collie / Cattle Dog mix. She will make an amazing best friend for someone active and patient who’s ready to give her the forever home she deserves. Here’s what we know about this sweet pup:

- Is mostly house trained. She is a puppy still, so you need to pay attention to her signals and let her out on a regular schedule.
- Is crate trained.
- Knows basic commands, such as sit, stay, lie down.
- Has good recall, even outside the home.
- Gets along with the other household dog.
- Seems to ignore other dogs at the park.
- Likes to fetch.

Luna, true to her breeding, tends to herd kids, so a home without young children is needed. She also will not be placed in a home with cats. Luna has no experience with farm animals, but given her herding tendency, one should expect that she would similarly focus on any type of farm animals. If left unattended in the yard, she may decide to do a little extra landscaping out of boredom.

If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and adventurous companion, Luna might just be your perfect match!

Luna is presently being fostered in Lyons, Oregon. She is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and has been wormed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $400.
