Luna's Story

Luna had a rough go before coming on a life saving flight from California. She was saved from the euth list, and we already adore this sweet, goofy, social girl. Here is what the California shelter had to say: Luna is a pocket pittie, 5.5yrs old, very sweet with people now that she’s done nursing - she had been pretty protective of puppies. Luna came to the shelter very pregnant and gave birth to 12 puppies - only 6 survived. All 6 were tagged for rescue, but Luna was left behind. Her owners were identified and had bred her many times but they didn’t reclaim her so she’s been at the shelter since 6/15 - she gave birth to her puppies 3 days later. Luna plays well with our other dogs in the play yard and loves people so much, but we are not sure how she feels about cats. The quickest way to this girls heart is through treats and a good game of fetch! Come meet her today!
