Luna's Story

NOTE: We update our posts daily. If you are reading this, we are still accepting applications. We will NOT respond to "is he available" inquiries.

Adopt Beautiful Luna! She’s a 2 year old Dachshund Terrier Mix and weighs about 23 lbs. She’s a survivor, very resilient and has overcome many challenges in her past in Mexico. She’s had a long journey, and she’s grateful to her foster parents for going through great lengths to save her and helping her survive.

We have never met a more noble dog. Super loving and friendly — a love-bug all around. She just wants love all day long and is ready to receive it and give it back. Super relaxed during the day, but will play with other pups if they play with her. She’s definitely a BETA and all the other dogs in the pack are always trying to dominate her (and she lets them) — talk about turning the other cheek, that’s Luna. If she goes to a home where they have another pup, will just need to make sure the other pup(s) are super friendly and will not hurt her.

She is potty trained and good on walks. Barks sometimes at other dogs when she’s on a leash, but she’s getting better. At home she’s a perfect angel who just wants love.

Adopt Luna today!
