Luna's Story

Meet the lovely Luna!

Luna is back in care through no fault of her own and is ready to find her forever family! Luna was rescued from Manitoba with her siblings. She is now approx. 8 months old, and Luna is a beautiful Northern mixed breed weighing just under 50 lbs. She has a BIG personality and is always happy, affectionate, and ready for an adventure!

Luna is incredibly smart and knows her basics—sit, stay, come, lie down, and leave it. She is completely house trained, crate trained, and has wonderful manners around the home. She loves her people and is happiest when she can be part of the action.

She is great with other dogs, people, and children ages 5–12, but is not suitable for a home with cats. She can be a little unsure around some men and gets very excited when meeting new people or dogs on walks, so she is still working on her manners. A head collar has helped tremendously.

Luna is energetic and would thrive in an active, busy home where she gets plenty of exercise, attention, and adventure. She loves being brushed, having her nails done, and pretty much anything that involves spending time with her people.

She is healthy, fully vaccinated, and on monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention.

Luna is a loving, smart, silly girl who has so much love to give. Most importantly, Luna is ready for a fresh start and a family who will love her for the big-hearted, energetic, silly, affectionate girl that she is.
