LUNA's Story
#A5757682 Luna

Meet Luna! A beautiful 10-month-old German Shepherd / Husky mix with a tricolor coat. She weighs 54 lbs and arrived at the care center on 2/24 as an owner surrender because her owner was going through personal challenges, nothing to do with Luna. When she was first observed she seemed scared and overwhelmed by everything going on around her. She ran to the back of her kennel, staying low to the ground and growling while clearly stressed. Luna is very alert and has a striking, beautiful muzzle. She will likely need some time to decompress and build trust, and would benefit from gentle, patient approaches while she settles in.

-Ready to go home

-Arrived at the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 2/24/2026

-54 lbs

-10 months old

-Female

-German Shepherd / Husky mix

-Tricolor coat

-Alert and aware

-Decompression time recommended

LUNA’S VIDEO:

https://youtube.com/shorts/84BMrCPDzCQ

For more information, contact volunteer Lor at

lor@unitedhopeforanimals.org

-------

United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.
