Lumi's Story

Hi, I'm Lumi!! Sometimes my foster mom calls me Lumi-Loo or Lulu.

I'm 9 weeks old, and weigh a whopping 12 pounds! I am equal parts crazy puppy and nap queen. Play hard, sleep hard is my motto!

I was a little shy at first, but now I love playing with my canine foster siblings and can keep up pretty well even though they are all bigger than me.

When I'm not trying to tell them who's boss, you can find me curled up getting some beauty rest. I love the snow. I kind of want to chew everything right now, so my foster parents make sure I have lots of options for toys to play with or chew on instead of those "no bite" things.

I'm literally just a baby :)

I know my name and can 'sit' when my foster mom asks me too. I'm learning where the door is to go potty outside and have never had an accident in my kennel!

I kind of whine a little when I first go in there, but then I settle down and am just fine. I sleep in my kennel, and right now I eat my food in there too (mostly so my foster siblings don't try to steal it from me!)

I still get a little nervous in the car and longer rides make me kind of woozy, but hopefully I grow out of that!

I haven't met any kids or cats yet, but I reckon I'd be okay with them once I got used to them.

I'm a timid gal who needs a second to get comfortable with new people and places, but once I do, I am good to go. I LOVE my people and am content once I feel safe and more familiar!

I would love a family of my own to snuggle into! I am a good little lover girl who will make the best playmate, work from home copilot, or adventure buddy!

DNA test results for Lumi: 33.9% Australian Cattle Dog, 26.8% Supermutt, 15% American Pit Bull Terrier, 14.7% German Shepherd, & 9.6% Siberian Husky
