Lulu

Meet Lulu, a little Terrier mix that is full of sugar and spice! When it comes to stranger danger, Lulu understands the assignment a little too well and will bark and avoid new people. Once she does warm up though, she is sweet as can be and loves to be held and will even give kisses. Lulu is still young, about 2 years old, but has been through rough times already. Last year, Lulu was accidently burned with boiling water, resulting in a large scar of missing hair across her back and butt. This has since healed and does not seem to have any reoccurring pain or discomfort from the incident. Lulu's family recently welcomed a baby and unfortunately Lulu was not very receptive to the newborn. Lulu's family made the very difficult decision to surrender her to our care. Lulu seems to do alright with other dogs, though she does try to be alpha and show how tough she is by barking (AKA "Little dog syndrome) and would likely do well with cats. Lulu will need some help in the house training department though. If you are interested in Lulu, please fill out an application and we will call to set up an appointment to meet once the application is approved. Please keep in mind, that Lulu may require a few meets with new people before she is comfortable enough to go home with them.
