Meet Lulu<br/><br/>Sometimes, life takes an unexpected and heartbreaking turn. Lulu is a beloved little dog whose Guardian recently learned that she has only months to live and will soon be entering hospice care.<br/><br/>We promised her that Lulu would be safe, loved, and cared for. We are welcoming this sweet girl into our rescue and are committed to finding her the loving home she deserves.<br/><br/>Lulu is approximately 6 and 1/2 years old and weighs 13 pounds. She is a sweet, affectionate little companion who loves to snuggle, go for walks, visit the park, and curl up on a lap. She also has a very important new favorite pastime: watching Dog TV! She can happily settle in and enjoy the sights and sounds while keeping her people company.<br/><br/>With all the changes in her life, Lulu is understandably a little sad right now. She has lost the familiarity of her home and the person she has known and loved, and she is adjusting to a lot of change. We believe that with patience, consistency, and a quiet, loving environment, her confidence will return. What she needs most right now is reassurance and the comfort of knowing she is safe.<br/><br/>Lulu gets along well with other dogs and cats and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a small, loving dog.
