Lulu's Story

Lulu is a young Jack Russell terrier (mix?). We believe she is around 3 years old and weighs 16 lbs. She was surrendered after having a litter of puppies and her family becoming overwhelmed by too many dogs. Lulu is doing great in her foster home and gets along with her fosters and their other dogs, though she can be protective of her remaining puppy at times. Lulu is doing well with potty training and is a happy and active girl. Lulu is being fostered in Knoxville, TN and her adoption fee is $250. Prior to adoption she will be spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. She is heartworm negative.

Knox Vintage Pet Project's Adoption Policy

We have a written application all potential adopters must fill out. Once the application is complete, we call all vet references to make sure their current pets are well taken care of (up to date on vaccines and heartworm prevention, sterilized). If the adopter rents, we will call the landlord to make sure they are allowed to have pets and have no restrictions. We require a meet and greet with all of their current pets before adoption.

We are a non profit organization with the goal of providing better quality of life for homeless senior and special needs pets near Knoxville. We are a small organization who relies solely on adoption fees and donations from the public.
