He first entered the shelter system as 12 week old puppy in May 2025 and was adopted, but was recently found running loose again in September 2026. No contact could be made with his former owner, so he stayed at the shelter until he came into the rescue.<br/><br/>Luke is a perfect pup - already house and leash-trained. He gets along great with other dogs and seems to be okay with cats. He loves a good snuggle and likes to sleep on the bed though he doesn't get on other furniture. He does NOT like to be crated, expressing himself loudly but has been a perfect gentleman in his new foster home. He is super smart. moderately active, and knows the dog door. We're still evaluating whether or not he truly has separation anxiety or if he just needs time to acclimate. He is a great, laid-back pup for someone who can give him free rein in the house (which he is fine with) and the yard when you leave.<br/><br/>Luke is being fostered in Springtown, TX
