Luke's Story
Senior boy Luke came to PAWS in September, unable to walk or hold himself up. He had a fever, blood liver values out of whack, and arthritis on top of what xrays showed some degenerative spinal issues. With meds and supportive care, he has made extraordinary progress in his foster home. He happily walks around the block 3-4 times a day with a little swagger.
He is friendly with all, eager to be part of family life, likes meeting other dogs and even seems to like cats. His special need is that he would love a place to land with few or no steps so he can go up and down unassisted — he is very determined and is a big, 70+ lb. bundle of sweetness.
He is crate trained and housebroken. Loves his chew toys and even stuffies.
If you love senior dogs and can give Luke a great home, please contact us info@pawsmontclair.org
