I don’t care how old you are or what you look like, but in case those things matter to you, my name is Luke, and I’m approximately 2 years old with soft, black fur. I also have little white tootsies (on my dancing feet for when I get excited!) that match my handsome, white tuxedo chest. I weigh 9 pounds, and I am ready to be your pint-sized pal! I am a male Chihuahua mix, full of cuddles and kisses to give. <br/><br/>I am learning how to go potty outside! I am getting the hang of walking on the leash and am doing awesome so far. I love to take a stroll and sniff the local “p-mail”. I do a good job doing my business outside, but I am still working on consistency. <br/><br/>Toys are so fun, and there's nothing I love more than finding a good stick outside. I am food-motivated and like getting a treat for good behavior! I am a goofy guy who is down to go with your flow. <br/><br/>I've made fast friends with the resident doggy, and I love playing with her. We chase, wrestle, and then enjoy a good snooze. <br/><br/>I am a quiet guy so far. I am still figuring out my crate is a safe space for me, but I do a great job settling in my dog bed for a nap.<br/><br/>I really love people and get so excited to see you. I will be your number one hype guy, ready for anything as long as it's with you! I love to sit in your lap and would happily snuggle up on the couch with you. Our application process includes landlord approval and vet checks. Please make sure all of your information is current and accurate, including a valid email address and phone numbers. Inaccuracies and/or incomplete data will delay and/or cancel your application. We strive to process all applications in a timely manner, but with the high volume of applications we are receiving, it is taking anywhere from 1-3 weeks. You may be contacted via email if there are concerns or questions. Once all of your information is reviewed and if your application is approved, you will be notified via email. Submitting an application and receiving an approval does not guarantee you will be adopting the dog you applied for. Once you move to the meet and greet process, you will be contacted by the foster family to further discuss the dog, and answer questions you may have, and if applicable, a meet and greet will be set up at our adoption center. Meet and greets are only set up with approved applicants, and we require all members in the household to be present, as well as any current dogs in the home. Meet and greets take place at our adoption center located in New Berlin. If you are proceeding with adopting a Lucky Mutt, we will require the dog to have a Martingale collar at the time of adoption, to ensure the dogs safety during the transition to a new home. <br/><br/>Current Adoption Fees Are:<br/>$425+tax for puppies to 3 years old<br/>$375+tax for ages 4-7<br/>$275+tax for ages 8 and up<br/>Bonded pairs vary<br/><br/>The adoption fee covers spay/neuter, up to date age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, general deworming, heartworm test, (if over 6 months) and a certified veterinary inspection. Please be aware, listed dog breeds are based on information provided and cannot be guaranteed. Submitting an application for a particular dog does not guarantee that you will be the applicant chosen, we receive several applications for each dog. Our adopters are picked based on the needs of the dog, and the home we feel with best fit based on your responses to our application, vet information and landlord requirements. Approved applicants not chosen for the dog you applied for, will be in active status for a period of six months. We encourage you to watch Petfinder, Facebook and our website for upcoming dogs.
