They are the sweetest, best behaved litter. Playful, friendly and smart. They all like to be held and each can be turned over on its back. They all like to be held and do not jump out of my arms. I have trimmed their nails each week.<br/>Weight at 6 weeks: Tigger 7 lbs, Marcus 6.8 lbs, Lucus 6 lbs, Bruno 5.7 lbs, Cassie 5.3 lbs, Socks 7.2 lbs, Big Foot 8.34 lbs and Champ 7 lbs. <br/>Cassie is the only female of the litter. She is sweet and cuddly. She is very smart. She is independent and will do fine as a part of a pack or alone. She is relatively quiet and is not as much of a handful as the boys. She is an adorable little girl that will probably flourish once she is away from all of her brothers. <br/>Marcus is adorable. He has a sweet personality and likes to cuddle. I actually took a 2-hour nap with him wrapped up in my arms. He was great. He didn't try to crawl away even when he got a little hot. He is active and playful but will quickly chill out to watch TV on the couch. When I give each one of the puppies their time to be held, Marcus is usually the first to let me know that he is ready to be put back down if the other dogs are clamoring around. Marcus will probably do best as a companion dog to someone that spends a lot of time doing stuff with their dogs.<br/>Lucas is very smart and a little more independent than the others. When the litter is trying to climb in my lap, Lucas is lying beside me. He has watchdog potential. He is very observant. He is a thinker. He also likes to be held.<br/>Bruno is a fireball. He is rambunctious, smart and is very sweet. He is affectionate and loves attention. He was the runt of the litter so he had to work harder than the rest. He craves attention whether it be for affection or play. His personality is much larger than his size. He will be an active dog.<br/>Tigger - Very unique color and markings. He is a sweet boy. Playful and active. Fabulous personality. He is outgoing, curious and brave. A semi-active home would be best for him. He will probably be good to relax and watch TV after he has play time or be just as good to go out and play ball on a Sunday afternoon.<br/>Socks is the best cuddler of the litter. He is outgoing but at times reserved. He will sit and watch before he reacts or asks for attention. While the other puppies are trying to climb in my lap, he is searching the ground for a kibble or sitting waiting for his turn in my lap. He seems to have a quiet personality and can be started at times. A nurturing home would be best for him.<br/>Big Foot - Adopted.<br/>Champ - Adopted.<br/>This litter was born at the rescue. Momma dog was rescued from the local shelter 2 weeks before she had the puppies. They have lived inside of a climate controlled room and outside in a covered pen. The pups are now eating dry dog food and have been on Authority Large Breed Puppy Food. They are weaned and each has a wonderful personality. Their ears may or may not come up--only time will tell. <br/><br/></p><br/><p align="justify">As with ALL GERMAN SHEPHERDS we strongly encourage the new adoptive family to enroll the dog in an obedience class to facilitate bonding and help with the transformation into the best dog you've ever had. Unless otherwise noted, our adoption fees are: $300 for any dog 1 year and younger (BABY)<br /> $250 for any dog 1-3 years (YOUNG)<br /> $225 for any dog 3-7 years (ADULT)<br /> $175 for dogs over 7 (SENIOR)<br /> <br /> The adoption fee helps cover expenses for the dogs while in the rescue program including the vet check, vaccines, heartworm testing, stool check, spay/neuter , microchip, plus other necessary veterinary care and training to get the dog ready for adoption. <br /><br /> Everyone <a href="http://members.petfinder.org/~AR186/adopt_app.html" target="_blank">must submit an application</a> before an appointment is made to meet the dogs. We are not a shelter, but a network of foster homes.
