Luka (formerly Blackie)

Hailing from a partner shelter in WV, Luka (previously Blackie— for obvious reasons), with his golden-rimmed eyeballs, and coat of velvety black, is a diminutive new arrival looking for that ever elusive home. Not sure what he will answer to, but kissy sounds is a sure-fire way to get his attention. A pretty boy, said to be a sweetie, the 36-lb. difficult-to-pinpoint breed has shades of those most popular — Labrador, collie, shepherd, but it's anyone's guess. Luka loves to play with other dogs and is estimated to be 2-4 years old. His first inclination is to be check you out first, but if you wait for him a sec or two, it is totally worth it. <br/><br/>You can visit the dogs from noon - 3 pm Saturdays and Sundays, otherwise by appointment.
