In those playful bursts, you can glimpse the happy dog he’s becoming—running, playing, and letting his worries fade away, even if just for a while. On walks, he’s calm and easy to handle, and he takes treats with the softest, most polite touch. <br/> <br/>Luie has the cutest white paws that look just like little socks, and they carry a dog who is trying his very best every day. He’ll thrive with a patient, loving family willing to give him the time and space he needs to feel safe. There’s truly a diamond in the rough here—sweet, gentle, and waiting for someone to see just how special he is. <br/> <br/>Luie has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home. He's a helper dog in playgroups, which means he helps new or shy dogs feel welcome and safe. He's also sharing his shelter suite with a friend he met at the shelter. Looking for a buddy for your dog? All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis.
