Lucy Rose's Story

Lucy Rose — A Little Beauty with a Heart of Gold!

Lucy Rose “Rosie” is a precious little sweetheart who is sure to steal your heart! This three-year-old beauty is as lovely on the inside as she is on the outside. Her gorgeous red-and-white coat is shiny and healthy, but it's her striking blue and brown eyes that really steal the show!

Rosie has a gentle, loving nature and an easygoing personality that makes her an absolute delight to be around. She's friendly, calm, and happiest when she's close to her person. Whether she's snuggled up beside you on the couch or simply keeping you company, Lucy has a special way of making you feel loved.

Rosie is a good little companion to other dogs and would be happy to share her home with a canine friend. She is well socialized, enjoys going for walks, and loves playing with her soft toys. She's the perfect blend of sweet and sensible, with just the right amount of playful charm. Rosie is also potty trained, making her an easy little girl to welcome into your home.

When Rosie arrived at DFWCSR, she was found to be heartworm positive. She is currently undergoing heartworm treatment and handling it like a rockstar. She has traded in her rocky past for soft blankets, gentle head scratches, and a quiet, predictable routine. Once she gets her clean bill of health, Rosie will blossom into an eager walking partner and the ultimate loyal shadow.

This darling girl has so much love to give and is ready to find the person who will treasure her as much as she'll treasure them. If your idea of happiness includes a beautiful little companion who loves you wholeheartedly and thinks snuggling close is one of life's greatest pleasures, Rosie might be just the girl for you!

If you are interested in Lucy Rose, please complete our adoption/foster application (they’re the same) and put her name at the top. Our application and detailed info about our process can be found on our website: https://dfwcockerrescue.org/adoption-process/

If you are already an approved adopter or foster, please contact us at dfwcsr.adoptions@gmail.com.
