Lucy Gray's Story

Lucy Gray is a 2-year-old beauty weighing about 60 pounds, and she's equal parts sweet and snuggly. She's doing wonderfully in her crate and has had zero accidents--such a good girl!

Lucy Gray loves to play and does especially well with her foster buddy. Once she gets excited, you'll see her signature move: the cutest little prance-run you've ever witnessed. It's impossible not to smile watching her bounce around with joy. She can take a little time to warm up to new dogs and to men, but with patience (and a few well-timed snacks), she settles in beautifully. Once she trusts you, she's affectionate, cuddly, and deeply loyal.

If you're looking for a loving companion with a soft heart and an adorable prance, Lucy Gray is ready to dance her way right into your life.Big Paws of the Ozarks is a foster-based dog rescue in Northwest Arkansas. We require an approved adoption application on file before scheduling meets with our dogs. You can find the application here (www.bigpawsozarks.org/adoption-application). Big Paws of the Ozarks's Adoption Policy
All adopters must fill out an application on our website with all necessary information. From there, our staff will conduct a phone interview and answer any questions regarding the dog or the adoption process. Once approved, a meet and greet is scheduled with the family, dog, and dog's foster family. This is the time where other pets can be introduced. If the meet and greet goes well, we can send the dog in a trial adoption for a few days to make sure it is a perfect fit for everyone. From there the adoption is finalized through payment of the adoption fee and transferring of vet records.
