Lucy’s Story <br/><br/>Lucy has been waiting a long time for someone to finally say, “She’s the one.” We’re hoping her person is out there.<br/><br/>Lucy is a beautiful 4-year-old, 40 lb Cattle Dog with that wonderful heeler combination of brains, loyalty, affection and a zest for life. She loves people, loves being included and is happiest when she has something to do and someone to do it with.<br/><br/>Looking for a walking, hiking, running or jogging buddy? Lucy is ready. Interested in training, agility or dog sports? She has the smarts and enthusiasm for that too. Or maybe you simply want a fun, devoted companion who will be thrilled to share your adventures and then come home with you at the end of the day. Lucy is wonderfully versatile.<br/><br/>She does well with other dogs and would be best with older children. No cats for this girl.<br/><br/>Lucy originally came to us heartworm positive, but that chapter is behind her. She completed treatment and is healthy, ready and more than ready to begin the life she’s been waiting for.<br/><br/>She’s spent nearly a year waiting. All Herding Breed Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy
We show dogs by appointment only. If you are interested in meeting our rescue dogs for adoption or foster, the first step is to fill out an application. Please go to our website www.AllHerdingBreedDogRescue.com and click the red highlighted “application” to access the form. It's easy! Once approved, we will contact you to set up a meet-n-greet at the rescue. If you decide to adopt or foster, you can bring home your new best friend that day! Our adoption fees are $475 : all dogs are fully vetted, spay/neuter included, microchipped, up-to-date on age-appropriate immunizations, and negative heart worm test or treated if positive. Please note: your application is very important to us. Once you submit an application, please allow us time to contact you.
