Lucy’s Story <br/><br/>Lucy has been waiting a long time for someone to finally say, “She’s the one.” We’re hoping her person is out there.<br/><br/>Lucy is a beautiful 4-year-old, 40 lb Cattle Dog with that wonderful heeler combination of brains, loyalty, affection and a zest for life. She loves people, loves being included and is happiest when she has something to do and someone to do it with.<br/><br/>Looking for a walking, hiking, running or jogging buddy? Lucy is ready. Interested in training, agility or dog sports? She has the smarts and enthusiasm for that too. Or maybe you simply want a fun, devoted companion who will be thrilled to share your adventures and then come home with you at the end of the day. Lucy is wonderfully versatile.<br/><br/>She does well with other dogs and would be best with older children. No cats for this girl.<br/><br/>Lucy originally came to us heartworm positive, but that chapter is behind her. She completed treatment and is healthy, ready and more than ready to begin the life she’s been waiting for.<br/><br/>She’s spent nearly a year waiting.
