Lucy's Story

Say hi to Lucy! This affectionate girl is available for adoption at Blue Mountain Humane Society of Walla Walla. She is 3 years old, weighing in at pounds. She came to the shelter originally as a stray. She is fully potty trained and loves being close to her people. She sleeps in bed every night, always with her head on the pillow and tucked under the covers, and would happily spend hours cuddling if given the chance. When she’s not snuggled up, she enjoys playtime, especially her stuffies and a good game of tug-of-war or fetch.
She’s very smart and knows several commands, including sit, shake, down, and spin (or "dance"). Lucy is generally very quiet, only occasionally barking when certain dogs walk by.
While she doesn’t enjoy being crated, she does great free-roaming the house when left alone! Sometimes children make me nervous, but I'm always willing to meet them! I would probably do best as the only dog in the home. If you're looking to add a new companion to your family that will love you unconditionally, fill out an application on the Blue Mountain Humane Society website and come and meet me! I'm so excited to meet you!
