I recently joined my current family, and while they love me very much, we’ve learned that I would truly shine as the only dog in the home. Because they want what’s safest and happiest for everyone involved (including me!), they’re working hard—alongside a rescue and with lots of love—to help me find the perfect forever situation.<br/><br/>Let me tell you a little about myself! I’m very friendly with people and absolutely adore human companionship. I’m house-trained, walk nicely on a leash, know my basic commands, and I’m very food-motivated (treats are definitely the way to my heart!). I’m affectionate, eager to please, and would love nothing more than being your loyal sidekick.<br/><br/>As for my energy level, I get adorable zoomies for a couple of minutes after bathroom breaks, then I’m happy to settle right back in for naps. I’m perfectly content spending most of the day snoozing, relaxing, and watching the world go by outside the window. I’m also not aware of any current medical issues.<br/><br/>While I’ve lived with other dogs in the past—including both boys and girls and even sharing cozy spaces—we’ve learned that I feel most comfortable and secure when I don’t have to share my home with another pet. An only-dog home would help me feel confident, relaxed, and truly at my best.
