Weighing about 40 pounds, she's the perfect medium-sized companion for adventures and couch snuggles alike.<br/><br/>Lucy may have just one eye (from an unknown previous injury or possible birth defect), but she sees the world with nothing but joy and love. She's incredibly people-oriented and truly happiest when she's with her humans. Whether it's playing a game of fetch, riding along on car adventures, or curling up on the couch for snuggles and belly rubs, Lucy is all in.<br/><br/>She is wonderful with children, gentle and patient, and does great with other dogs. Lucy has also been around farm animals and handles new environments with confidence. She does have a bit of a herding instinct and may chase cats, but she has shown no signs of wanting to hurt them. <br/><br/>Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, Lucy has already overcome a lot in her young life. She was treated for heartworm and is now fully cleared and healthy, ready for her fresh start.<br/><br/>Lucy is currently working on crate training and is doing well as she continues to learn routines and expectations.
