Lucy's Story
Lucy is a 1-year-old spayed female mixed breed. She was found as a stray. She was emaciated and severely anemic. Lucy has almost doubled her weight and her bloodwork has improved dramatically. Lucy loves people that she meets at the shelter. Remember the shelter is a controlled, safe environment where we set the animals up for success. Every positive experience builds trust and confidence. Lucy can be nervous around other dogs. This is based in fear. We are working on doing walks with her shelter buddy Ralphie. Lucy should be signed up for a good basic obedience or reactive dog class to continue this work. We can recommend one.<br/>If you are interested in meeting Lucy please email us at miltonanimalshelter@gmail.com
